Perodua Expects 2 Million Marks in 4th Quarter in Car Production

Perusahaan Otomobil Sdn Bhd Kedua (Perodua) expects its car production to hit two million marks in the fourth quarter of this year since its inception in 1993.

Director, Datuk Rashid Salleh Aminar said this year alone, the automaker local units to 195,000 cars, more than 189,000 years before the sale of its units by models such as Myvi, Viva and Alza was driven to produce.

"We think sometimes in the last quarter of this year we will achieve the production of two million, " he told reporters after a graduation ceremony for participants of the digital prototyping engineering (DEP) program at the headquarters of Perodua here Tuesday.

Until today, says Rashid Aminar the automaker has already produced about 1.8 million units of vehicles.
